At 20 years old, Chenoa has already been a competitive rider for 14 years. She rode in her first Grand Prix at the age of 13. She became a member of the NAYJRC (North American Young & Junior Rider Championships) in 2006 and competed in NAYRC for Zone 8 for four consecutive years placing in the top 14 in the nation for three of those years.

Among Chenoa’s competition credentials are the German Friendship Games Invitational in 2007 and Levels I & II of the Emerging Athletes Program 2009 along competitions in Mexico, Canada and Germany. Chenoa has many high placings in Grand Prix and High Junior/Amateur Owner Classes and Classics in shows across the United States.

Chenoa has had the opportunity to train with professionals such as Christian Rogge, Frank Selinger, Sharn Wordley and John McConnell; she has also attended clinics with Melanie Smith, Julia Winkel and Mclain Ward.

Chenoa aspires to be a Professional, Managing Rancho Corazon along with competing in the World Cup, World Equestrian Games, Pan American Games, Aachen and other international competitions. Her pinnacle goal: to compete for the United States Equestrian Team in the Olympics.

She recently graduated at the top of her class from KCPS High school in 2009, and is currently a student at the University of Denver where she rides in addition to her studies. Chenoa plans to continue her riding career throughout college and beyond.
